ITINERANT TEACHER OF STUDENTS WITH VISUAL IMPAIRMENTS
Mid-State Special Education is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Special Education Teacher/Vision Itinerant.

Qualifications: Illinois Professional Educator License with special education endorsement for Blind or Visually Impaired.
Duties: Our Vision Itinerant is an important member of our team of professionals serving students with identified visual impairment(s). This teacher is a key resource to families and other educators. The primary responsibilities include the design and implementation of instruction as well as the recommendation of appropriate accommodations and equipment. This teacher also completes evaluations and contributes to the development of the IEP for children.

Terms of Employment: Work year = 185 days; Compensation per salary schedule; Start date = August 2020 (exact date TBD based upon district calendars)
